Bristol Debt Advice Centre (BDAC) was registered as a charity in December 1989 and was originally a response by a group of legal professionals in Bristol to the growing debt crisis facing so many in the city. BDAC is based in West Street, Old Market, from where we provide a range of debt advice services, financial capability support and energy advice.
Support is received from a whole range of statutory and non-statutory sources including trusts and foundations and a valued and growing group of individual supporters. As a major provider of money advice in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, we play a vital role in making available free, independent, confidential and professional advice to people in debt.
Every year, BDAC produces an Annual Report which highlights our activities and achievements in the year, to thank funders for their ongoing support, and to inform about future development.
