Administration Assistant x 2 posts

Bristol Debt Advice Centre is a leading money advice charity with a mission to improve lives by tackling financial problems. With a 21 year track record of providing high quality, effective and innovative advice services, we are currently looking for two motivated and organised individuals to work within our Support Team. Providing administrative assistance to colleagues, clients and services, the successful applicants will be confident in administration tasks, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work in a busy office environment both as an individual and as a member of a team.

MAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS

Hours of work:

24 hours per week to be worked over 3 days

Contract term:

Fixed term to 31st March 2013

possibility of extension to contract term depending on funding

Probationary Period:

Four months

Salary:

SCP 11 £14,411 per year (pro rata)

Pension:

5% non-contributory pension after successful completion of probationary period

Leave:

6 weeks per year plus public holidays (pro-rata).

Place of Work:

The BDAC office, located in the SOFA Project Building, is on the second floor, but is wheelchair accessible via a lift.

Volunteering
We are looking for Energy Advice Project Volunteers: Our Energy Advice Project (EAP) is dedicated to helping combat fuel poverty in the South West and provides one-to-one advice to people experiencing difficulties with their energy costs or who are at risk of fuel poverty.  We are looking for admin support for the project, a role vital to ensure the Project can reach as many people at risk of fule poverty as possible.  Full training for the role will be given.  To apply, please email your completed Volunteer Application form below with your CV (if you have one) to joanna@bdac.org.uk
